Sherborne Good Neighbours – www.sherbornegoodneighbours.org – volunteer drivers using their own cars for short trips aimed at all ages. Call the numbers on their website with 48 hours notice. They charge 45p per mile (min £2 spend)

COACHES
Several companies operate a coach service from Yeovil bus station to London Hammersmith for ~£21 (one way). The journey takes 2 ¾ hours. Coach seats need to be reserved in advance via their websites:

TRAINS
Chetnole Halt has trains travelling between Weymouth and Bristol, currently operated by GWR. Do please take a look at the Chetnole Halt page on this website to find out how the Halt differs to a normal Train Station, and some of the history.

EV CHARGING
The closest fast EV chargers are in Sherborne in Coldharbour and Old Market Yard Car Parks. There is also Eyvee fast charging in the car park at the Peel Centre, Babylon Hill, Yeovil and a very fast 150 k/w Instavolt charging at the McDonald’s Car Park in Flushing Meadow, Yeovil. There is a Tesla and Porsche EV charger at The Summer Lodge in Evershot.
