Chetnole and Stockwood Parish Council is made up of 7 Council Members representing the Wards of both Chetnole and Stockwood. The Chetnole Ward has 6 Council Members serving a population of 293, whilst Stockwood has only one Member serving a population of 23.
The term of the council is normally 4 years but this term will be 5 years in order to align with the new Unitary Councils in Dorset. The current term commenced in May 2019 and will run until May 2024, when the next Parish Council elections will take place.
