Sunday 1st June sees the return of the Chetnole Duck Race!
The Ducks will be launched from the Mill Lane Bridge and swim their way up to the Ford in Deep Ford Lane. £1 a Duck or £5 per book of 5 Ducks – your ticket number will be on your Duck!
Prizes are:
1st – £30,
2nd – £25,
3rd – £15,
4th – £10
5th – £5.
After the race has finished and the winners crossed the line (and hopefully not gone further downstream) there will be Tea and Cakes served in the Village Hall, with a Raffle and a Lucky Dip for the children. The winners will then be announced and prizes given.
All proceeds go to the Chetnole Playing Field Improvement Fund – with the aim or buying new play equipment.
